Not bad early performance with Vulkan Renderer. EE cycle skip (3) cycle rate (0) 100%
Maximum Performance cpu overclock 1785. With OC patches installed(2091) should improve a bit more than seen below

so I can play Jak and Daxter at a FPS worse than it ran on the Vita and also ruin my switch with overclocks at the same time. sounds great....

You cant enjoy n64 on horizon without “overclocking”. 1785 is the chips standard. If you you don’t want to play anything above snes emulation suit yourself, I dont care less.

you don't have to Max overclock to play n64 games and most of them only need a slight GPU overclock to work at full speed including Conker. this however needs max overclock and runs worse than it did on vita

I'm sure if Sony did an actual port of J & D to Switch it would run flawlessly? I don't see the point of the comparison.

People have “overclocked” their switch since close to the release date. The battery will deplete slightly faster & is replaceable. Show me one person that has destroyed their switch via overclocks at 1785cpu? Or even depleted their battery? Sorry but this is just you trying to rag on a topic, the same way you did it when you were convinced aethersx2 was just a stream. Gpu overclocks are much more taxing than Cpu aswell so your arguement falls flat.
Its not ruining your switch its simply using it. The switch battery would last around 5 years it you left it on constantly for 24 hours per day normally.

the battery isn't the issue which alone shows you have no idea what you are talking about nor did I say your switch would just suddenly explode but you are indeed decreasing its life regardless if you want to acknowledge that reality or not . and uh any logical person would have questioned this project considering how hard it is to emulate ps2 even on a PC so don't try that bullsh*t in order to atempt to dismiss what I say

Is it theoretical that it does damage? I don't doubt that OC results in overheating, but things like that can be addressed with fans, don't use case, etc.

voltage and powerdraw are also things to worry about like I said it won't just explode but if you are dumb about it and just max clock it all the time (which no logical person should) then you are asking for future problems

There needs to be less bitching about overclocking and more testing of PS2 emulation

me too. I've been running at 1785/921/2131 everyday, 1785/921/1600 since I've known sysclk. I haven't got banned yet too since 2017 even tried to play own dump xci online. my flag is skill flying good. my switch battery is still 90% power checked with hekate. it refuses to die even I bought v2 and the oled for replacement just in case.
